L.O.V.E. Ball (A Celebration of Heroes)

This is a country style Ball. Break out your hat, boots, short or long skirts, and come ready to dance to some hot country tunes! We will honor our heroes and hear from some big names that do the same, as well as hear all about the work of LibertyOVE.org.

Theme

This is a country, farm, redneck, themed event. Men- Wear jeans, your cowboy hat, a jacket, and your boots. Ladies- feel free to come in short or long skirts, boots, and your cowgirl hats. There may be some door prizes for best dressed couple, best dancers, etc.

Dress

Cowboy, country, hats, boots, jackets, etc.

Purpose

This is a fundraising event as well as a chance to honor our active military, veterans, first responders, and the families that sacrifice for them.

Timeline

  • 6-7pm Cocktail Hour (feel free to peruse the museum and make some new friends).
  • 7-9pm Buffet Dinner (Pork BBQ, fried chicken, baked chicken, mashed potatoes, mac n cheese, green beans, baked beans, corn, cole slaw, rolls, sweet or unsweet tea). Alcohol by purchase only.
  • 9-9:30pm Speeches by Founder Mike Murray, Board member and nationally syndicated podcaster Monica Matthews, and Virginia State Attorney General Jason Miyares.
  • 9:30pm-midnight Country line dancing and two-step led by Kickin' Country Line Dancing. (Last Call At 1145pm).
